A classic Moorish/Andalusian star design done with simplicity. A beautiful encaustic tile with soft grey, deep red and off white pigments this classic would make a beautiful floor or wall feature. Because of the old nature of the tile there is variation in finish – great for a characterful feature to create contrast or subtly look like its been there forever.

A beautiful gently swirled example of pouring this handmade encaustic tile was reclaimed from a palace in the Macarena barrio in Sevilla. Originally laid in a chequered layout with plain black and plain white encaustic tiles for a grand piece of flooring.
